Memorial Day Weedeng

We went to my parents for the long weekend and of course the weather didn't cooperate until Monday but it was a nice weekend. Brady was able to play outside some. Mom and dad got him a John Deere tractor for Christmas and this was the first time since then that we tried and and he's able to sit on it and started figuring out how to move it.
Saturday we went to an auction, my first, and I bid and won 2 things. They were great purchases and I was so proud of myself. We went to eat all-you-can-eat shrimp for Jasons birthday that evening and of course a trip to Wal-Mart.
Sunday, we did nothing as it rained all day, seriously ALL DAY. Well mom, Brady and I did go to Wal-Mart to Birthday shop and Jason and Dad went and looked at 2 lakes. Something to do.
Today, Monday, we played outside most of the day as it was beautiful. Brady was actually able to be outside and enjoy the wonderful weather.
As you can see, he's eating finger foods and we had to capture the Cheerio stuck to his chin. So cute. He's into everything and always on the go so we have to put him in his Pack and Play now so he doesn't have to be held all the time, since he wants to be moving. He likes it ok, but would much rather be on your lap or crawling around somewhere.
It was a fun weekend and I hope when we go back in 2 weeks that the weather is nicer and we can be outside even more.

1 makes 5 and another is 6

So we have another tooth on the way. Yes, I may blog every single tooth because teeth are a HUGE deal to only fall out a few years later. He has been hurting pretty bad during this new tooth. In fact I just looked tonight and he has another one getting ready to break through, so 6 teeth. The new teeth are the ones on either side of his front 2. I guess I need to remember the names of all the teeth so I can refer to them by a name and seem slightly intelligent, but then again why. Honestly if you are reading this you probably care more about Brady than his teeth and would like me to get onto how he is and what he is doing these days. Well this is what I see when I go check on him. So much fun. We have since lowered the crib and fixed the bumper pads but this was cute to see.

Way to long

So it's been a long time since I last wrote. Sorry, we've been really busy with work and the end of the school year. Everyone is good. Jason is finally done with school for the summer, kind of. He has to go to camp this summer for ROTC, he'll be in Washington state from June 14-July 17. He'll be back ON Brady's birthday which is a good thing. We figured he would miss Brady's 1st Birthday since that is just how our world works.
Brady is getting bigger and bigger every day, every hour even. He'll be 10 months tomorrow and is into everything. You can't leave anything out or he will try and eat it. I think it's funny how everything goes in the mouth. He's still not crawling but has a great Army type crawl. He uses his legs and toes to push him but doesn't really use his arms much. He does rock occassionally but we think he's much more interested in standing. He'll stand at any opportunity he gets and will walk if you hold his hands.
As far as I go, I'm good. I've been working A LOT lately. I normally only work 1-6 M-F but lately I've had to work all day or go in at 11 because we are so busy. It's a good thing but it takes me away from my little man and I don't like that. Actually Jason has been gone most of the week during the day so when I go in at 11 I take the Brady-man with me. It's nice b/c everyone loves to play with him and he's such a good boy. So anyway, now you are caught up in our lives and I hope to write more soon. Things should start calming down next week as Jason will be done done with stuff til mid June.
