This was by far the best Christmas I've had in a long time. Now I really miss the "old" Christmas's where we would go to Grandma and Grandpa's and the entire family was there, but I'm learning that things change and I have to learn to change with them. So with that reality I gave in and had a really good time. The day started with Santa yelling Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas and everyone getting out of bed and heading downstairs (after going potty of course, can't skip that step with a potty trained 2 year old). First thing Brady got was his suckers. He would have been fine with just those suckers. He showed everyone and wanted to eat them right away. I let him have one and I think the other one is still at Vama (Grandma) and Pop's. He really enjoyed the present process and wanted them all to be his but he did a very good job helping Vama pass out the gifts. Now it was very hard to keep tract of what everyone got Brady because there were presents everywhere and Vama wasn't stopping to let us see what everyone got. I told her next year we have to be a bit more organized as I have 4 people's gifts to keep track of so we can say proper thank you's.
Now Blake, all of 2 months old, didn't care about Christmas much at all. Jason held him or he was in his swing but he did great. Never getting too upset and only time he did get upset was before he ate.
Everyone got great gifts and had such a great time.
Jason got a Shortwave Radio, 2-way Radios and speakers for his XM radio (he loves radios). The only thing he asked me for that I didn't get him was books. He loves biography books about Presidents like Andrew Jackson and Teddy Rosevelt, boring to me but he loves that stuff. He got a Router as you can see and a bunch of other stuff.
I got pots and pans from Mom and Dad, lotions, a new camera, Guitar Hero III and Mom and Dad got us a Tom Tom. I got lots of other great gifts too, lots of kitchen stuff which I love. Barr and Cassie were there all day and we even got a game or 2 of Farkle in. All in all it was a
great great day.
